Ebbing's Silverberry, Elaeagnus ebbingei, is a large evergreen shrub, growing 8 to 12 feet high and wide.
Young leaves are silvery and become dark green with a silver underside as they mature.
Full sun and
moderate water requirements.
Flowers are small, silvery and fragrant, followed by
edible red fruit that can be used to make jams and jellies.
Ebbing's Silverberry shrub is great as a large hedge and does well in the desert Southwest landscape.
