Great day trip, not too far from Silver City, NM. Lots of hiking, bring some good shoes, water and snacks. Plan on 4 to 5 hours to hike up and back.

Dirt bike riders from all over converge on the small city of Gallup to compete in the annual Chupacabra 100 desert race. Lots of dusty fun!

Ten minutes out of the city, and like another world. The Organ mountains are breathtaking up this close. Great hiking trails with lots of wildlife and beautiful vegetation, especially in the spring after a rain.

Located on the Rio Grande river, at the bridge on Picacho Avenue. There is a playground for the children, picnic areas for BBQ's and lots of fishing posibilities. Take a stroll down the path or sit in the shade of a big Cottonwood tree.

The Las Cruces Farmers and Crafts Market is ranked number one in New Mexico and eighth in the nation! Local farmers and craft artists congregate on the downtown mall, every Wednesday and Saturday morning.

The Leasburg Dam State Park is a great place to go for a Sunday outing and only about 15 miles North of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Worlds largest gypsum dune field. Load up the kids and slide down the snow-white dunes or take your sweetie on a romantic moon-lit stroll, this place is absolutely amazing!
