Arizona Rosewood, Vauquelinia californica, is a large evergreen shrub or small tree, a moderate grower to 25 feet and it does well in the desert Southwest.
Rosewood requires full sun and low watering, once established. Heat and drought tolerant plant.
Rosewood blooms in the summer-time, white flowers are in large, flat-topped clusters at the tips of branches.
Cold hardy plant that makes a very nice large, evergreen hedge.
Good shrub for the desert Southwest garden.
