Althea or Rose-of-Sharon

Althea or Rose-of-Sharon, Hibiscus syriacus.

Deciduous shrub, that can grow 8 to 12 feet high and 6 to 10 feet wide, depending on the variety.

Full sun to partial shade, flowers best in full sun. Flowers come in many different shades of white, pink, lavender and blue and bloom from mid summer to early fall.

For best results, foliar feed Althea with an acid-based fertilizer, like Miracid.
