Arizona Cypress trees make wonderful windbreaks, as they are evergreen and fast growers, up to three feet per year.
Require low to moderate water and full sun.
They can get 50 to 60 feet high and they are cold hardy down to -15 degrees, and very heat and drought tolerant.
Arizona Cypress have few disease problems, however if allowed to become stressed from lack of water, they can be attacked by spider mites.
Lack of sufficient water in the winter and freezing temps can cause dieback or kill the tree.
