Hedgehog Cactus

The Hedgehog Cactus, Echinocereus coccineus, is native to the desert Southwest. Compact, clumping cactus that can get to five feet across.

Orange flowers cover the tops of the plant in late summer, followed by small stickery seed pods.

The Hedgehog Cactus is a great addition to the desert Southwest landscape. Drought and heat tolerant. Full sun.

Excellent plant for the Southwest desert landscape or xeriscape!
